Journey to Fulfillment
"Image of Hope Ranch is an amazing place that allows my children to experience the amazing power of healing that horses offer. When my kids are struggling, the first thing they want to do is see their horses. Growing up with horses myself, I know the affect horses have on kids. They gain confidence and responsibility. Image of Hope gives my children something to look forward to. Alisha does an amazing job teaching and listening to my children as they ride. God blessed us so much when he led us to Image of Hope."

Unlock your potential through our transformative Thrive Program. Our holistic approach aims at developing leadership skills, rebuilding trust, boosting self-confidence, fostering self-love, and enhancing overall well-being – physically, emotionally, and mentally. With the Thrive Program, participants (Ranch Hands) have access to three enriching mentoring opportunities.
One Option isEquine Mentoring Program, a personalized one-on-one experience between a mentor and a Ranch Hand. Together, they delve into self-regulation exercises, foster deep connections, engage in rhythmic riding, and care for the horse they are paired with. Guided by the principles of Natural Lifemanship, our Equine Mentoring activities are designed to aid in the regulation of the brain, focusing particularly on the intricacies of the trauma brain. Through this unique and tailored approach, participants not only connect with their horse, but also embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing, fostering a harmonious balance in their lives.
The Equine Mentoring opportunity offers a transformative experience, unlocking the power of connection and self-regulation within the serene backdrop of Image of Hope Ranch.
Discover the wonders of our Nature/Animal Mentoring Program, option two within the Thrive Program. Ranch Hands will immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and the joy of interacting with animals, engage in activities like fishing, kayaking, archery, nature art, and animal tracking. This program, facilitated by a dedicated mentor in one-on-one sessions, extends beyond mere outdoor experiences. Under the mentor's guidance, Ranch Hands delve into self-regulation exercises, fostering mental well-being while embarking on a journey to discover purpose and nurture self-worth. This holistic approach not only connects participants with the natural world but also instills a profound sense of balance and purpose in their lives. Join us in this transformative Nature/Animal Mentoring Program, where the healing power of God's creation converges with the guidance of a mentor to create a path towards self-discovery and renewed self-worth.
Journey to Fulfillment Program is the third mentoring option within the Thrive Program. This unique opportunity aims to mold strong community leaders by imparting essential communication and life skills, all while delving deep into the wonders of animals and nature, with a special emphasis on the profound connection with horses. Designed to foster healthy relationships with animals, family, and peers, this program unfolds in an intimate small-group setting. Participants are grouped by age, with sessions catering specifically to 5-8-year-olds, 9-13-year-olds, and 14-18-year-olds. The 14-18 age group enjoys a comprehensive experience, meeting every Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, while the younger groups gather twice a month for 1.5 to 2 hours. This empowering program is where leadership skills are cultivated, communication is honed, and a profound understanding of animals and nature, particularly horses, forms the cornerstone. Through small group dynamics, tailored to specific age groups, we create an environment where participants not only learn valuable life skills but also build lasting connections with peers and mentors. Journey to Fulfillment is a pathway to leadership and personal growth, creating a positive impact on our community.
And the best part? The Thrive Program comes at no cost to you. Thanks to the grace of God and the support of compassionate individuals who share our vision, Image of Hope Ranch is able to offer these life-changing sessions free of charge. This makes every hard day worth it!!
A note from Easterseals Arc Northeast Indiana...
"You never know when an extra super great day is going to hit... and then it does!
This is the second time I have had a participant plan an outing for another participant and I just LOVE IT!! For many months, John C has been asking to take David W to Image of Hope Ranch. John said he had no interest in going, but he would go with David to help him enjoy the ranch. I finally squeezed him in and it was a success! David was shy at first, but honestly John was a huge help at getting him to try and do things. I would ask David if he wanted to try different things, and he would say, "no I am alright", but then John would ask, and he would do it. By the end of our visit even John wanted to try and put the halter on Penny! John kept telling David how proud he was of him and when we got in the car David yelled "Yee Haw"! "
